Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to
provide a comprehensive hands-on final test for the
Electrical Power course and also to serve as a test-out for
qualifying applicants. This exercise incorporates the
most important skills and concepts of the entire Electrical
Power course and is pass/fail in nature. This exercise
is designed to test the applicant in Electrical Power and is
not intended to test the applicant’s Electrical Controls
skills. Each task must be successfully completed
before proceeding to the next. Applicant can be
disqualified anytime during the exercise for performing
unsafe work acts and for not wearing prescribed plant PPE
and following safety instructions.
