Please note that some of the pre-training services will only be performed during the initial visit because of the nature of these services.

Items 1 -3 below are provided according to a separate contract that includes pricing and service information.

  1. Initial Consultation with client.  Training objectives and specific plant needs are discussed at this time.  During the initial visit, it is very important to establish a plant contact who can serve as a liaison between the client and MST.
  2. Train-the-Trainer.  This instructor preparation session is often scheduled to ensure that new instructors are familiar with the procedures and policies relating to the training.  Topics covered include course planning, record-keeping, and administration of quizzes.
  3. Assistance in Obtaining Training Grants.  MST will assist with the application process for state and federal grants that provide training aid.

Items 4-7 are included in the hourly charge for instruction.

  1. Selection of Instructors.  MST will first meet with technical experts in the skill areas for which training is planned.  After collaborating with the client, MST will compile a list of prospective instructors.  Although MST contacts and conducts brief interviews of potential instructors, input from the client is both welcomed and considered.  The final recommendation will be issued by MST and is subject to approval by the client.  Payment and record-keeping policies are discussed prior to hiring an instructor.
  2. Provide Instructional Materials.  All instructional materials, including instructor guides, reference materials, and student profiles are delivered to each instructor.  MST personnel also field questions from instructors concerning the format or content of any instructional materials.
  3. Schedule and Facility Confirmation.  MST will communicate with the company contact in order to finalize a schedule for time and location of the class offerings.
  4. Administration of Required Paperwork.  MST will coordinate with the instructors in order to compile critical information required of each instructor.
