Overview: The Assessment Phase is critical in
order to define the skill gap that exists between those
skills of
your current employees and the optimal skill set required to
support your operation. We work to ensure both the
validity and reliability of our testing methods, while
remaining cost-effective for customers. The Assessment
phase is critical because it will help to identify and
prioritize the training that is most critical to your
employee base. Objectives: The key
objectives of the Assessment phase are:
- Identify methods of assessment appropriate for each
skill area
- Identify opportunities for online assessment in each
skill area
- Identification of test proctors
- Develop or revise assessments for each skill area
- Implement assessments to target population(s)
- Report results of assessments
- Identify and prioritize training needs based on
assessment results
- Develop test-out assessments in each skill area
Methodology: Some of the tools used by MST
during the Assessment Phase are:
- Pilots of assessments
- Simulators for hands-on assessments
- Web portals for online assessments and client
