Overview: The Design Phase is where the
training program begins to take shape. The purpose of
this phase is to provide a high-level plan that includes
what training course(s) will be offered, the duration of
each training course, and the basic structure of each course
(classroom, online, etc.). The Design Phase is important
in determining the overall strategy for training
implementation. Objectives: The
key objectives of the Design Phase are:
- Determine timelines for training course development
and implementation
- Determine training formats
- Determine mix of classroom and online training
- Identify client team to review progress of training
program
Methodology: Some of the tools used by MST
during the Design Phase are:
- Brainstorming sessions with client
- Gantt charts for scheduling and tracking
